Online - Introduction to Buddhist Psychology - Teacher Workshop - 09.00 - 17.00 (GMT)
Date: 11/12/2020
Location: Online

We will explore the foundational teachings and the core psychological understandings and orientations within which they contextualise the practice of 'wise mindfulness'. We will investigate the deep congruences between these understandings and the insights and principles underlying and informing contemporary mindfulness-based approaches, especially Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and we will consider what the practical implications of this might be for how we can practise mindfulness today.

Masterclasses and workshops at the OMC are directed by leaders in their field, within mindfulness training, teaching and research. These events offer continuing professional development in teaching MBCT and in specialist areas of applying mindfulness training. They will interest mindfulness teachers as well as those wishing to find out more about recent developments in their field of interest.

PLEASE NOTE: The OMC is now providing this event online in response to the spread of the Coronavirus. If you are happy to proceed please acknowledge this, when asked, in the below form.
