This workshop provides training in how to teach Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World (M-FP). This curriculum is a development of MBCT based on the best-selling book by Mark Williams and Danny Penman. M-FP provides a practical and accessible introduction to mindfulness, with 6 or 8 weekly sessions of 60-90 minutes and home practices of 10-20 minutes. It includes practices and exercises for working with stress and for increasing wellbeing and resilience and is suitable for delivering to adults in workplaces, universities and schools, and to the general public.


PLEASE NOTE This curriculum is intended to be delivered to adults over 18 years of age and is not applicable to children


Curriculum materials and handouts for teaching the course are provided.


IMPORTANT: You do not need to complete this workshop if you are currently on the OMF 12-month cohort teacher training route.


The OMF provides Confirmation of Attendance letters to all participants who attend 100% of the training event.


You are eligible to attend this training if you:


You are already fully trained to teach MBCT through a recognised, trainer-led, 1-year teacher training programme including specialist training in MBCT. Please do not sign up for this training if you are not fully trained to teach MBCT, or if your only experience with MBCT is attending an 8-week course as a participant. In these cases, your application will not be approved, and you may be charged an administration fee when we refund your payment.


Have completed an 8-week mindfulness course as a participant, led by a teacher in-person or live online.


Have access, to suitable technology, internet capacity, space, privacy and the technical ability to join an online training programme via Zoom with video on at all times.


SPECIAL NOTE  for Bangor Masters students: You are eligible for the 2-day MBCT to FP training if you have completed module "Teaching Level 2" of the Masters programme.


Schedule: Day 1 will end at 17:30pm and Day 2 at 17:00pm hrs UK time
