Online - Mindfulness for Life - 8 Week Course - Tuesdays - 08:00-10:15 UK TIME

The aim of this course is to promote awareness of your mind and body through the cultivation of mindful awareness. It is suitable for people wishing to enhance their general physical and mental wellbeing. If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, recurrent depression or feel generally 'dissatisfied' with your life, this course could offer you some skills in how better to respond to the 'ups and downs' of everyday living. The programme is not being offered as a treatment for any specific physical or psychological conditions. It is not suitable for people who are currently experiencing very severe problems in these areas.
Please note: This course consists of 8 weekly sessions (each 2 hours, 15 minutes long) plus a 5-hour Day of Practice session usually held on a weekend. It is important to attend all sessions of the course as scheduled below, as it is not possible to make up sessions with another course group.
Please therefore ensure you can attend all of the dates of this course before applying: Tuesdays: 03/10 (finishes 10:30), 10/10, 17/10, 24/10, 31/10, 07/11, 14/11, 21/11 at 08:00-10:15 UK time.
The Day of Practice takes place on: Sunday 12 November (08:00-13:00 UK time)
In addition, we ask you to reserve 28/11 for the unlikely event that the teacher may need to reschedule a session.
Please note: The UK time zone changes during this course. The UK is currently in British Summer Time (BST) and changes to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on 29 October 2023. Sessions 5, 6, 7, 8 and the Day of Practice will therefore start at 08:00 GMT, not BST. Please ensure you check the timings of this course and how this corresponds to your own time zone.
