MBCT – 30 Years On
We warmly invite you to come and join the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy community as we gather for 3 days to reflect, connect and celebrate 30 years of MBCT's contributions to clinical care and population wellness.
This gathering is designed to feature the wide scope of MBCT activity around the world within a format that enables teachers, researchers and trainers to cross paths and learn from each other. Our time together will feature a day of practice with Mark Williams and Antonia Sumbundu, keynote addresses, (John Teasdale, Mark Williams, Zindel Segal, Willem Kuyken and Ruth Baer), and Q&A panels alongside research poster presentation evening and opportunities for socializing.
From its inception, MBCT has described how a psychological model of distress can be addressed through contemplative practice. Come help us take stock of this work and explore how it can remain impactful for the coming 30 years.
Guidance on research paper submissions will follow shortly. Places are limited, if you are planning on joining us, we encourage you to save the date and reserve your place with an expression of interest as early as possible.
