We warmly invite you to join the Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) community as we gather for 3 days to reflect, connect and celebrate 30 years of MBCT's contributions to clinical care and population wellness.
This year’s Gathering is open to anyone with an interest in MBCT. It’s designed to feature the wide scope of MBCT activity around the world within a format that enables practitioners, mindfulness teachers, researchers and trainers to cross paths and learn from each other.
Our time together will feature a day of practice with Mark Williams and Antonia Sumbundu, keynote addresses, (John Teasdale, Mark Williams, Zindel Segal, Willem Kuyken and Ruth Baer), and Q&A panels alongside research poster presentation evening and opportunities for socialising.
On the evening of Wednesday 27th August, there’s also an optional Networking Evening hosted by Zindel Segal and ACCESS MBCT (separate registration required).
From its inception, MBCT has described how a psychological model of distress can be addressed through contemplative practice. Come help us take stock of this work and explore how it can remain impactful for the coming 30 years.
If you’re an MBCT researcher and would like to submit your study to present during the Gathering, the application deadline is 30 April 2025.
