MBCT Teacher Competency Assessment - Guidance for submission
Please do not submit for MBI:TAC assessment until you have read all the guidance in this link. This handbook includes guidance for documents which support this application.
You need to have recorded yourself teaching before you submit an application. Please see the above link for guidance on recording and the consent forms required. If you do not have the correct recordings or consents we will not be able to process your application for MBCT Teaching Competency Assessment. If you submit an incomplete or incorrect application you will be charged an administrative and processing fee of £50. Please do contact us with any queries in advance of submission at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that the application fee is not refundable once the assessment process has begun. The fee is not to issue a certificate of competence but to assess competence levels therefore if you are not assessed as competent the fee is not refundable.

Recordings of you teaching a recent 8-week MBCT course
A copy of your recording must be sent on a memory stick to: Competency Assessment, Oxford Mindfulness Centre, Kellogg College, 60-62 Banbury Road, Oxford OX2 6PN. We strongly recommend that you keep your own copies of the recordings and send your recordings by a secure delivery service or courier.
It is your responsibility to send us recordings in which you are visible and both you and your participants are audible. Recordings which do not meet these criteria cannot be assessed. Your fee will be refunded minus a processing fee of £50. You will be able to re-submit when you have a recording that meets the required criteria.
