MBCT for Life - Wimbledon - Merran Barber

Location: Gooseberry Bush Studio, 115 Kingston Road, Wimbledon, LONDON SW19 1LT.
Time: The sessions will run each Sunday at 10.30 a.m. - 12.30 except for Session One on Sunday 09/02/20 which will finish at 13.00. Additionally, there is an Afternoon of Deepening Practice on Sunday 15th March 12.30- 4.00pm. following on directly from the morning session.
The aim of this course is to promote awareness of your mind and body through the cultivation of mindful awareness. It is suitable for people wishing to enhance their general physical and mental wellbeing. If you are experiencing stress or feel generally 'dissatisfied' with your life, this course could offer you some skills in how better to respond to the 'ups and downs' of everyday living, as well as ways to better savour life, realise your potential and to flourish.
The programme is not being offered as a treatment for any specific physical or psychological conditions. It is not suitable for people who are currently experiencing very severe problems in these areas.
Payment details will be provided once the Booking Form has been received. Please note that your place on the course can only be confirmed upon receipt of a completed form and payment.
The course is taught by our OMC Associate Merran Barber.
Merran is a Chartered Occupational Health Physiotherapist and Mindfulness Teacher who trained to teach Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at Oxford Mindfulness Centre.

If no preferred name is given your first name will be printed on your name badge.
For teaching quality purposes we occasionally video record our course sessions. We will direct the camera only at the teachers but class discussions will be audible. The recordings are used for internal purposes only. Please feel free to speak with the teacher, if you have any concerns about this.
Following the submission of your pre-course questionnaire, you may be contacted by the Course Lead to discuss if the course is appropriate for you to attend at this time. If you mutually decide that it is not, you will be refunded in full.
