Summer School 2020 - Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World

Masterclasses and workshops at the OMC are directed by leaders in their field, within mindfulness training, teaching and research. These events offer continuing professional development in teaching MBCT and in specialist areas of applying mindfulness training. They will interest mindfulness teachers as well as those wishing to find out more about recent developments in their field of interest.
Finding Peace in a Frantic World training offered by Chris Cullen and colleagues. This training will commence at 9am each day and end at 6pm each day, please make arrangements to remain at the training venue to the end of the training, leaving early will not enable you to fully complete the course.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is being delivered live online through the Zoom https://zoom.us platform. With all our courses we work hard to provide a safe environment to enable participants to fully engage with the programme. To support us with this, when engaging online we ask that you consider your environment when participating in these sessions. Where possible please use a private space where you will not be disturbed so that you and the group can achieve the highest levels of participation and confidentiality. Where you are not in a private space, to support confidentiality we ask that you use a headset or earphones rather than the speakers on your device and as much as possible have your screen facing away from the others in the room.

This masterclass is for UK teachers who meet the Good Practice Guidelines to be listed as an MBCT teachers or are eligible to be listed and are considering applying. For international applicants this is for MBCT teachers who meet either their countries good practice guidelines or within the MBCT.Training Pathway have completed foundational and intermediate training.
For the purpose of this course, we would like to understand the level and knowledge of your prior experiences of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Please provide your answers to the following questions:
Please advise where you trained to teach mindfulness (essential to join this course)
Please advise when you trained to tech mindfulness and who your trainers were
Please advise in which mindfulness intervention where you teacher trained
