Mindfulness: Teaching in the Workplace

The purpose of the Mindfulness: Teaching in the Workplace Programme is to help experienced mindfulness teachers build the competencies required to offer mindfulness training in organisational contexts. The course explores the competencies and skills required to introduce mindfulness confidently in workplace settings and build a practice in the field. Succinct presentations on relevant theories and concepts are blended with opportunities for hands-on practice, experiential learning and real-world applications through case study simulations and real-world assignments.

Supported Rate - for those with low incomes: £600.00
Standard Rate - pays facilitator and OMC costs: £650.00

Mindfulness Background

The programme is for experienced mindfulness teachers, who are teaching Mindfulness-Based Programmes in line with the UK Good Practice Guidelines, and mindfulness teachers in training, who must have:
* Completed an introductory level mindfulness teacher training
* Taught or co-taught two mindfulness-based courses
* Completed training in the 'Finding Peace in a Frantic World' curriculum with Oxford Mindfulness Centre
Applicants should also have knowledge and experience of the chosen workplace setting(s) and population(s) they plan to teach.

Please advise in which Mindfulness-Based Programme were you trained to teach (e.g. MBCT, MBSR)

Please give details of the "Finding Peace in a Frantic World" curriculum workshop you have attended. Please include dates, location or online and name(s) of trainer(s).

Please give details of two mindfulness-based courses you have taught or co-taught. Please include dates, location or online, number of participants and course type (e.g. MBCT, MBSR, Finding Peace in a Frantic World, Mindfulness for Life etc)

Please briefly describe your knowledge and experience of the chosen workplace setting(s) and population(s) you plan to teach. (Max. 200 words)

We ask that people who join our courses online have considered that both the environment and their technical equipment is suitable to engage in this format and support confidentiality for the whole group. Please confirm you have understood and agree to this online criteria, including the environment and the participant confidentiality which is different with online courses.

It is part of our entry criteria that you have attend the "Finding Peace in a Frantic World" curriculum 2 day workshop before you join this training.
